Program Services

Residential Services

It is the purpose of Goodwill Industries residential services to support individuals with disabilities to achieve their dreams, maximize their potential and to live full lives in their communities by achieving valued social roles.

Goodwill's residential services support adults with disabilities in either Shared Living or Supported living.

Shared Living:

An individual receives supports in a family/home setting where a Shared Living Provider (SLP) supports the person to live as independently as possible in the community. Individuals and families, or single people, are matched for compatibility and live together in their shared home. A case manager, who helps them to support their housemate as fully and appropriately as possible, supports the SLP.

Supported Living:

Individuals with disabilities live together in a home that they share with one another; additionally they receive assistance from paid staff that supports them within their home on an ongoing basis.
